A product review and a giveaway- Travel neccessities!

Recently, I was gifted another wheeled weekender bag (I know, lucky me) from the generous people at Two Lumps of Sugar. Two Lumps of Sugar offers a wide range of fun and unique products for the home, such as kitchen items, totes and bags, kids' products, organizational boxes, travel accessories, clean-up products and more! Out of the 17 fun designs available for wheeled weekender bag, I picked the Leopard Wheeled Weekender because I thought it was very chic! Animal prints are always in style, right? Here is what my bag looks like:

My new stylish and roomy leopard print weekender bag.

There are two outside zippered pockets, one on each side of the bag. The zippered pockets are one of my favorite features because I love bags with many compartments.

The inside zippered pocket.

There is also three other pockets inside. These are perfect for organizing important personal items like cel phone, passport, purse or any small items.

And it comes with a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap.

This is what the weekender bag looks like with the adjustable shoulder strap attached.

A travel tag is included with the weekender bag as well.

The retractable handle (not adjusted to its full length yet).

The retractable handle stores a hidden zipper closure when not in use.

 The built-in wheels.

What I love most about this product is its attention to details. Made with a thick fabric material, it features various useful compartments, a hidden zipper closure (for the retractable handle) and a luggage tag. While these details may seem minute but these are definitely pluses considering many bags found in the same category often overlooked these small but useful features.

*Based on my honest and unbiased opinion.

Unexpected touches in decor!

Nothing make quite an impact or a design statement as an unexpected piece or element in a room. Below are a few examples of such interiors.

An unexpected ceiling mount light fixture with an adjustable arm truly makes a design statement in this industrial style dining area.

An oversized ornate mirror leaned on the wall creates a major visual interest in this charming and feminine bedroom.

The addition of a large three panel mirrored foldable screen that also serves as an unconventional headboard becomes the focal point in this neutral room.

A hand drawn illustration applied in the empty space above the book shelves creates an instant drama in this gorgeous and eclectic home office.

Do you use unexpected elements in your home decor? Which one of the above is your favorite room?

Home tour- A stylish and colorful home in Montana!

This stylish and colorful Montana home belongs to interior designer Susie Hoffmann. It was a former office space which occupies the building's top floor. With just 1,000 square feet, Hoffman is selective in what she includes in her space. Despite a modest footprint, she successfully incorporate a kitchen, dining and living rooms, office and "guest nook" into one space seamlessly. In an effort to preserve the space's openness and industrial feel and to accommodate the possibility that it might someday revert to an office space for her design business, Hoffmann worked within the layout that was predetermined by the building's 14-inch concrete walls, adding mostly flooring, finishes, furnishings and paint. Let's take a look.

What are your thoughts regarding her home? Do you like her design or color palette? Any favorite element?
