I really love the new additions in my guest bedroom!

Measuring at 12"x16", this small pillow creates a big impact in the room, thanks to its beautiful intricate patterns. It really gives the room an added visual interest and a dose of boho flair, don't you think? It comes with an insert and is removable for the occasional cleaning.

Product review- Latest Bedding quilt set!

Recently, I was offered a chance to try the Black Bear Lodge Quilt Set from Latest Bedding. 

I have received a queen set which includes 1 quilt and 2 shams. The quilt measures 86 inches wide x 86 inches long and each pillow sham measures 20 inches wide x 26 inches long. 

The Black Bear Lodge Quilt Set features moose, black bears, evergreen trees and snow-capped mountains with a reversible native print. I can envisioned this bedding in an alpine cabin or rustic lodge or in a child's bedroom with a wilderness adventure or a camping theme.

Made with a combination of cotton and polyester, this bedding is machine washable. Unlike most bedding set, this bedding set is thin enough to be use during spring, summer and fall. During cold winter months, this quilt can be used as a bed topper for extra warmth. 

Thanks to its multi-colored design, this rustic bedding quilt set can be used with a variety of sheet sets and blankets. The reversible design is so versatile. When the quilt is fold over slightly, you can get a peek of the native print which adds another layer of visual interest to the overall design. Such a nice touch, don't you think?

I am absolutely thrilled with both the gorgeous decorative pillows and the pretty pom pom throw blanket.

The decorative pillows looks so plush and elegant, they definitely make an instant design statement in the room. I also like how fresh, stylish and sophisticated they look!

Embroidered in dark navy blue, these beautiful Chinese-inspired pillows look perfect against the neutral, beige background. They came with feather down fill inserts and are removable for the occasional dry cleaning.

The pretty pink yarn-dyed cotton throw blanket has a delightful, classic herringbone pattern which I love! The lovely pom poms on the edges are fun, playful and eye-catching. Truly adorable!

Measuring at 50"Wx50"H, this generously sized throw blanket is a wonderful addition for the bedroom or the living room for those cold, chilly days. It also came with a linen drawstring bag for convenient storage, how thoughtful!

Both products are beautiful and well-made. The pictures do not do them any justice, to be honest. Highly recommended!*

Product review- Phorus PS5 Speaker!

Many of you might not know it but music is a big part of my life. I love to sing and listen to music and there's not a single day that goes by without music in our household. So, when I was offered a chance to try the Phorus PS5, a wireless speaker, how I can resist?

Let's take a look at this wonderful speaker!

The first thing that grabs me about Phorus PS5 is its beautiful, elegant design. Its small footprint (11.2x4.9x2.9 inches) allows me to put this speaker practically everywhere, even in a small surface area. 

What I really love about this speaker is its flexibility and ease of use. It instantly connects to any smartphone, tablet or computer, using DTS Play-Fi (Play-Fi Technology is found in a broad range of brands from ultra-luxury McIntosh Audio to handcrafted speaker company Wren) or premium Bluetooth. 

Setting up the speaker was a breeze. To get started, I just plug in the speaker, download the Phorus app and with a minute or two, I was able to enjoy my favorite music from my YouTube playlist. There's a free Phorus app for Android, Kindle Fire, and iOS and it plays from your music library, Spotify, Pandora, Rdio, Rhapsody, SiriusXM, AM/AM/ Internet radio, Podcasts and more!

Quality wise, it produces a powerful, crystal clear sound at every volume level. I also like that I can adjust the volume setting to a really loud level so when I am cooking in the kitchen (with the loud kitchen ventilator), my music is not compromised.

If you are a music lover, has an existing Wi-Fi network in your home and is looking for a great speaker that lets you stream high quality audio right from your smartphone, tablet, Kindle Fire or PC, the smart Phorus PS5 might be the wireless speaker you are looking for!

I am truly in love with this gorgeous rain cover! Featuring a witty, original trompe l'oeil design by New York artist Susan B. Allen, this rain cover looks charming and absolutely chic! The beautiful minimalist design and neutral khaki color would work well with any bags or outfits!

This black rain cover is just as stunning! The contrasting beige trim is definitely a lovely touch. Exuding style, sophistication and elegance, you can't go wrong with this beautiful bag protector!

Both Gussy rain covers are generously sized (36" width by 16" height) and will fit larger bags, whether it's a crossbody bag, hobo bag, tote bag- you name it! They can also be used to protect suitcases, rolling bags, computer cases, diaper bags, briefcases and even a beach bag! 

Made of sturdy, lightweight waterproof polyester, a material similar to those of a good raincoat, the material is well-made and looks durable. I like that they are pretty easy to use too. You just slip the strap through the middle flap and reattach the velcro and that's it! A sleeve is included with each rain cover as well.

Overall, I am pleased with both my bag rain covers! Now, I can protect my favorite bags in style and not having to worry about ruining them during the rainy days. Instead, I am going to embrace the rain so I can show off my rain covers! #EmbraceTheRain

Product review- ShedRain umbrellas!

I remembered buying my first umbrella to protect myself from the scorching hot sun (that gave me annoying headaches) and the rain when I was attending college in Malaysia. Because I lived in a college dorm and I had to walk a good distance to my classes everyday, getting an umbrella was a practical choice.

The umbrella I purchased was a gorgeous bright red color with a curved wood handle. A typical umbrella at that time would cost between $6-$7 each but I decided to splurge and bought a $20 umbrella. I love that umbrella so much and would literally bring it everywhere. And it wasn't even a compact umbrella. 

I even brought it with me in my gigantic luggage when I first came to the United States to pursue my studies more than 10 years ago. There were a few times I almost lost my beloved umbrella due to my absent-mindedness but thanks to my friends and a few kind souls, I was able to retrieve it back. My red umbrella served me for more than 10 years before the ribs finally broke. Needless to say, I was sad because it was such a sentimental item for me.

Perhaps of the love I had for my old, broken umbrella, I started to have an obsession over umbrellas. We already have a few umbrellas at home but I really wanted to have my very own umbrella so I went online to shop. I ended up ordering a nice over $60 fancy striped umbrella all the way from UK and then another punchy graphic umbrella a few years later.

So, when the nice folks from ShedRain offered to send me some of their umbrellas to try, how I can resist? These are the umbrellas that I picked!

New Auto Open Fashion Stick

This designer umbrella is so chic and gorgeous! I really love how bold and fun the stripes are! The 42-inch canopy has a great 'push-button auto open" feature and fully expand from the retracted position at the base. 

Constructed with a steel frame and ribs, it seems really sturdy and durable. Besides the wonderful quality, I also like the lovely coordinating leather crook handle detail. It also easily provides coverage for two average-sized adults. 

With a winning combination of durability and style, what's not to love about this beautiful umbrella?

Bubble Umbrella (Clear)

I have always wanted a clear umbrella since I was a little girl so picking a 'see-through' bubble umbrella was a clear choice (pun intended). The clear canopy offers an unobstructed view, preventing me from bumping into people or cars. Additionally, the clear canopy also makes for a great photo op! 

Featuring a 'push-button auto open' design, this umbrella is very easy to operate. Overall, the umbrella seems sturdy and well made and the black trim is a beautiful touch. Coverage wise, it protects you from the rain better than the average umbrellas because of its bubble design and construction.

I really love this gorgeous dome umbrella for its beauty and practicality and would highly recommend it!
