Home tour- An explosion of color in a modern New York triplex!

What was once a 19th-century warehouse is now transformed into a remarkable 5,600-square-foot apartment residence by a real estate developer. Currently belongs to a father and three young sons, Ghislaine Viñas of Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design developed a color scheme of eyebrow-raising doses of red, orange, yellow, green and blue for this modern home. Its ground level encompasses the living and dining areas and the kitchen. The basement contains a den, a playroom, a gym and guest quarters. On the second story are family bedrooms and a home office. Let's take a tour of this colorful home.

Bursting with color and energy, this modern home is perfect for a family with three young children. What are your thoughts? Do you find this home inspiring?

Home tour- An old bohemian villa in Bergshamra!

This colorful bohemian villa belongs to a couple Görel Crona, an actress and Henry Von Koch, a copywriter. Located in Bergshamra outside of Stockholm, it is Görel's version of a paradise; she feels like she is living in the country even though her home is so close to town. The decor in this eclectic home is a mix of heirlooms, auction bargains and pieces Görel and Henry bought on trips. Let's take a look.

I love the rustic wood floors and the beautiful huge windows in this beautiful home. The gorgeous artwork, the colorful stack of boxes, the home office chair and ombre curtain are some of my favorite elements. Which element are you mostly drawn to? Do you find bohemian decor appealing?

Yummy in yellow!

I have to admit yellow is one of my least favorite color when I was younger. However, after constant exposure to this sunny color, I have a change of heart. I actually love this color now. I have incorporated this color in my living room and I am planning to use yellow as one of the accent colors in my unfinished master bedroom. The color yellow always make a room looks inviting, fresh and cheery, don't you think? No matter which shade, where and how much you use, as a wall color, an accent color or through accessories, there is no denial the color yellow brings so much joy and optimism in a room. Just take a look at these examples and you will see.

Do you love yellow as much as I do? What color makes you happy? Are you inspired by any of the rooms above? Which one is your favorite?
