Personally, I really love the look of a modern nursery so I created one today in the form of a mood board for fun! I selected a whimsical wallpaper as my starting point and I continued to add the basics such as the baby crib, a changing station, a rocking chair, an ottoman and two pair of curtains. Next, I layered my room with accessories which included a persimmon striped rug, a light fixture, a floor lamp, some artwork, a cascading mobile, a side table, three floating shelves, a decorative pillow and an adorable elephant laundry hamper. A baby nursery is not complete without some toys so I added a doll and a rocking horse to the mix.
Overall, I wanted a modern, fun, stylish, cheery and whimsical baby nursery. What are your thoughts? Some of the pieces I picked in this room are low end and some are high end. Which piece do you think is the most expensive? And which item do you think is the least expensive?
Answer: The most expensive piece in this nursery is the adjustable light fixture, named Zoom Chandelier retailing at $1,700, designed by Floyd Paxton and the least expensive item is the pair of orange curtains, retailing at $20 per pair at Target.

Mood board- Traditional And Eclectic Dining Room!
I have created three mood boards previously but none of them were dining rooms so I decided to create one today. I first started with a slightly more traditional wallpaper, a chinoiserie style wallpaper with bird, aviary and branch details by Schumacher followed by a pair of matching red pagoda mirrors. I selected the pair of red pagoda mirrors because I wanted a pop or color in an unexpected way. Next, I came up with the salvaged wood dining table and the red French style dining chairs. Ideally, I wanted to have six dining chairs but obviously the mood board can only fit two, at the most but you get the idea. For the final touch, I added a couple more accessories to complete the final design and here it is.

What do you think of the overall design? Do you like the color palette? I would love to hear your thoughts.

A product review and a giveaway- Cocopani designer beach umbrella!
Today, I am doing a product review for a beautiful beach umbrella courtesy of Cocopani.
Check out what I received in the mail a few weeks ago!
A Cocopani beach umbrella! This gorgeous umbrella comes with a matching carry bag. The carry bag is made with the same cotton canvas material as the umbrella. It's lightweight and absolutely a breeze to carry from one place to another. Plus, it provides an easy storage.
The interior of the umbrella.
With a height adjustment feature, this umbrella is perfect for a picnic at the park, at the deck or on the beach.
The material, although lightweight, is made of high quality cotton canvas. What I love most about this product besides the good quality is the size of it. The generous size of this umbrella is wonderful because I can fit my whole self in. I just love having the option of completely staying out of the sun when I am outdoor so I can read a magazine or take a short nap! Made with good quality materials in a generous size with a height adjustment feature and with six fabulous designs to choose from, this beach umbrella is a clear winner to me!* I can't wait to lounge in style underneath this beauty when I get a chance in the near future!
*I received this product to review for free but the views and opinions expressed are entirely our own.

Blog link-up- Mood board Monday Party: Wallpaper
Today, when I was visiting Lisa's blog at A Room With A View, something caught my eye. She was linking up her mood board to a linky party at Sarah's blog, Pewter & Sage. I have seen many DIY project or room link-up but seldom came across a mood board link-up. Naturally, I got curious and decided to pay a visit. I thought it might be fun to check out a new linky party and a new blog. It turned out that Sarah's Monday's inspiration is wallpaper, and she had a joint collaboration between herself at Pewter & Sage and Cathy at Room Rx. Together, they picked out four beautiful patterned wallpapers from Layla Grayce. To those who are interested, they can select a favorite wallpaper among the four and create a room around it. Below are the four choices of wallpapers:
Can you guess which one is my favorite wallpaper out of the four? I am immediately drawn to the first one because I like the beautiful color combination. It's unique and striking. I designed this mood board using a program named MyDeco. This time (my third time creating a mood board), I decided to source every item on my own instead of depending on what is available on the website. Since I have not designed a home office before, this is what I came up with:
A Stylish And Feminine Home Office
Sources:
Wallpaper: Amy Butler Lacework Sunset Wallpaper
Office desk: Jett Desk
Message board: Burlap Message Board
Sconces: Randolph Gold Leaf Sconce
Fabric samples: Tangier Frame Print
Mug: Monogrammed Mug
Fresh flower: Telefloras Beauty Secret
Chair: Kartell Louis Ghost Chair
This mood board was quite time-consuming (as expected) but I really enjoyed the process of putting everything together. What are your thoughts? Can you visualize this home office? You can check out other mood boards here.

Mood board- Classic and chic master bedroom!
Today, I was playing with Olioboard and decided to create a classic master bedroom with a modern twist. I am not really familiar with this program so I just pick whatever was in there. I do not have any specific color palette or furniture pieces in mind, I just went with what caught my eye. And here is what I came up with.
Can you visualize this whole room with white walls and green trellis wallpaper as the focal wall behind the bed? What are your thoughts? Let me know what you think!
