Makeover Miracle- From Simple Boys' Room To Fabulous Bedroom With Built-In Bunk Beds!

First of all, let me make a confession. I have been following this very talented blogger forever! She is none other than Michelle from 4 Men 1 Lady (formerly known as 3 Men And A Lady). I have been her fan since her 3 Men And A Lady's days! She absolutely has a knack for decorating. So don't forget to take a tour of her beautiful home here and her previous home here when you get a chance! Recently, she shared her boy's bedroom reveal on her blog and I was absolutely wowed!

I am sure many of you have seen amazing built-in bunk beds on Pinterest, but how many of us actually built them from scratch? Well, this girl did (with some help) and it turned out super-duper fabulous! Check this out!

Aren't those bunk beds awesome? No details were overlooked. A ladder and curtain rods made with plumbing pipes for that effortless industrial look? Check! Double-sided curtains for a fun, custom touch? Check! A special nook for a clock, books and fun trinkets? Check! Anchor pillows and beautiful wall boards for a nautical feel? Check! Silver wall sconces for late night reading? Check! A colorful world map to tie the whole design together? Check!

I just love a project that is well thought-out, carefully planned and beautifully executed. This is definitely one of those projects! Don't forget to check out additional pictures of this fab bedroom, the befores and progress here. I am obsessed about this room, what about you? Thoughts?

Home feature- Elizabeth from Haute Indoor Couture!

Today, I will be featuring the gorgeous home of blogger and incredibly talented interior designer, Elizabeth from Haute Indoor Couture that she shares with her hubby and her yellow Labrador Retriever, Henry. The first time I saw her home, I was truly wowed and inspired. Although decorated in a mostly neutral palette, her home is a visual treat for me (most of you know I am a big fan of color so her home says a lot). With a mix of highs and lows, new and old, refined and rustic furnishings and an array of well chosen pieces resulting in a home that exudes sophistication, warmth and character. From the interiors, you would never have guessed it is a two-bedroom rental apartment because she has put so much love and thoughts into it. Let's take a look at her lovely home now.

Don't you just love Elizabeth's sophisticated, eclectic chic home? Which is your favorite room? Any favorite elements? My favorite element has to be the way she styled all her gorgeous vignettes. I believe that people who can style anything effortlessly and beautifully always make the best designers, don't you think?

Update: I googled around and found the CC lamps here.

Makeover Miracle- Closet turned office and spare room turned closet/ dressing room!

I have been reading and following fellow blogger, Mai and her gorgeous blog, A Cup Of Mai for a while now. Mai is a super talented girl with a keen sense of style. She is also a stylish fashionista who takes amazing pictures (totally magazine worthy), share delicious mouth-watering recipes and has a flair for interior decorating. So when she showed us her closet turned office and spare room turned closet/ dressing room makeover, I was absolutely wowed. Both spaces were done on a small budget, which is always inspirational especially to those of us with tiny budgets. Let's take a look at these rooms!

Closet Turned Office

Very chic office space, isn't it? I would love to say I played a huge part in her office makeover, but no, she did it all by herself. The only thing I did was suggesting a piece of white artwork for her place to break up the dark wall and also to create some much needed contrast. (Earlier, she had three small rectangular mirrors hanging horizontally and it wasn't looking quite right so she asked me for my input.) For details on her resources/ budget breakdown for this office makeover, click here.

Spare Room Turned Closet/ Dressing Room

Don't you just love the bright and cheery colors in this room? This is such a beautiful dressing room and it's filled with so much wonderful ideas. I really love the framed shopping bags idea. It's chic, inexpensive, totally unexpected and it's so fun to boot! I also adore how she uses coffee beans to hold her make-up brushes. For details on all her resources, click here.

I hope you enjoyed both fabulous makeovers by the lovely Mai. Don't forget to check out her gorgeous master bedroom as well!
