A traditional Michigan home with a modern twist!

This 1940s Michigan home belongs to Alabama native and graphic designer, Wes Trammel that he shares with his fiancé, Ben Cooper. The house was dark, outdated and has been unoccupied for many years when they purchased it. After an extensive renovation, this house is transformed into a bright and inviting abode! Let's check it out, shall we?

I can't take my eyes off this gorgeous residence! Employing a neutral color palette throughout the entire house, this home feels fresh, airy and cohesive. Without the addition of colors, this abode evokes a sense of calm, timelessness and tranquility. A mix of textures, metals and natural elements provide visual interest to the calming, neutral color scheme. Bright, elegant and beautifully layered, there is so much to take away from this sophisticated traditional home with a modern twist, don't you think? Your thoughts?

  1. Jessie, This home is lovely. Elegant, yet warm and welcoming. Uncluttered and functional. The colors are calming. All and all, I love it.
