This gorgeous New York pied-à-terre is designed by Nathan Turner (Bravo TV's Million Dollar Decorators star) for a young couple with a tween daughter. The family is based in Singapore and live in a warm, tropical environment. For their New York home, the wife wanted something different- heavier and more layered with deep rich colors. Knowing his client is also a fan of Carolyne Roehm, the designer masterfully incorporates the ladylike aesthetic into his designs as well. Let's check out the results, shall we?

Bold and beautifully layered, this abode exudes style, warmth and elegance. The marriage of eclectic furnishings, wallpapers, upholstered walls, custom pieces and brass accents contributes to a rich, cozy and visually delightful space. I am particularly drawn to the lovely custom red velvet mohair headboard in the master bedroom and the striking custom blue screen in the master suite, what about you? Any thoughts?
The brass accents bring the design together.
ReplyDeleteThe blue screen fronting the books is awesome.
Quite a place!!!
