Inside a designer's beautifully layered historic home in Atlanta!

While most people prefer a beautiful sparkling new home, interior designer Lauren Lowe and her husband Brandon really wanted a home with history and character. During house hunting in an older Atlanta neighborhood, they were thrilled to come across a 1930s gem that hasn't been touched for decades. To make it their own, they infused their home with modern elements while preserving the original architecture of the house. Let's take a look!

Isn't this house absolutely gorgeous? By masterfully pairing classic silhouettes and timeless pieces with brass elements and modern accents, this home effortlessly radiates style, comfort and casual elegance. I love how bright and airy this historic residence feels! What are your thoughts?

Boy you found a good one. It's classic, stately, but most of all comfortable. The home welcomes you to actually live in it!

  4. I adore the baby boy nursery!! Do you know where this family purchased their spindle crib and/or the dark wooden dresser? I love the combination of wood colors!
