Inside a chic, neutral and sophisticated oceanfront vacation home!

This gorgeous oceanfront vacation home on South Carolina's Kiawah Island belongs to a New York family. The house was built in the 1970s as a spec house and looked very different back then. With the help of architect Mark Maresca and interior designer Cortney Bishop, this home is totally transformed. Let's check it out, shall we?

Such a stunning abode, don't you think? Even with a strict color palette of neutral hues, this home still exudes style and visual interest, thanks to a combination of beam ceilings, wood flooring, shiplap, beaded-board paneling and natural textiles, patterned rugs with nubby finishes, leather and furniture in sculptural forms. Chic, timeless and sophisticated, this residence is beyond inspirational. Your thoughts?
