Inside a designer's Ontario home with a ski lodge chic vibe!

This 3,200-square-feet home in Salem, Ontario belongs to designer Sophia Reay that she shares with her builder husband, Richard Frede. They decided to install one large window at the back of their home to take advantage of the stunning nature view outside. By incorporating simple mid-century modern furniture in an earthy grey and white palette with warm textures and organic elements, her abode exudes an undeniably chic and cozy ski lodge vibe. Let's check it out, shall we?

What a beautiful home! I absolutely love her gorgeous living room and her striking walnut cabinetry in her kitchen, how about you, my lovelies? Are you drawn to any room or element from this tour as well? I would love to hear your thoughts!

  1. Good Morning
Sophia's home is striking. It struck me that she doesn't have any window treatments, not even blinds or shades. The outside becomes part of the home!
The rooms are so clean and chic.
    Thank you for sharing.
