Favorite room of the week!

This lovely playroom is designed by Nicole Fisher from The Studio at One Kings Lane for actress Lucy Liu! Lucy Liu's son, Rockwell was the designer's primary source of inspiration. Employing a sophisticated and soothing, neutral color palette, this playroom is definitely a serene kid's space with an adult appeal. Even though there is a lack of bold colors in the room, it still feels like a child's space, thanks to a variety of toys, fun pieces and whimsical elements. To achieve a multicultural feel, tribal masks, Moroccan baskets and global-inspired pillows were integrated into the space. To organize kid's toys and books, shelves, bins and baskets were used. I especially like the way the designer incorporated multiple tables and seating to accommodate different activities for both adults and kids alike. Such a beautiful, comfortable and thoughtfully designed kid-friendly space, what's not to love? Your thoughts?
