A designer's Cape Cod home with a chic, beachy cottage flair!

This beautiful, 1,260-square-foot classic Cape Cod home in Connecticut belongs to interior designer Raquel Garcia that she shares with her three daughters. Opting for shiplap walls, beachy white oak hardwood flooring and a soft palette, this lovely home exudes a relaxed beach cottage vibe. Let's check it out!

I love how bright and open this gorgeous home feels! With a mostly white palette, the designer cleverly injects glamour and visual interest into the space by incorporating natural textures, brass and lucite elements. The absolutely chic lucite handrail with the brass caps on the stairwell is particularly my favorite design detail, what about you? I would love to know your thoughts!

  1. A charming, bright and cheerful home. Love the gold accents. The staircase is outstanding.
