A fresh and updated traditional St.Louis home!

This 1919, 6,000-square-foot house in St. Louis is decorated by Amie Corley for a family with three children. The homeowners sought a fresh, contemporary update for their traditional home and want to keep things kid-friendly. They also asked for plenty of color, with blue and white being a favorite combo. Let's find out how Amie tackle this design challenge, shall we?

Such a bright, beautiful and airy home! By introducing pops of vibrant hues through textiles, wallpapers and accessories in this home, it feels fresh, current and youthful, don't you think? A wonderful mix of classic elements and contemporary furnishings provides a refreshing and delightful twist to this historic abode while touches of wood and brass accents provide warmth to the space. I am truly obsessed with this incredibly gorgeous home, what about you? Are you drawn to this fabulously chic residence as well?

  1. Hi! This house is gorgeous and so me! I have a question - what kind of buffet/credenza/sideboard did they put in the dining room with those beautiful chairs and table? Thank you! Lindsay
