This 1920s New York apartment is designed by Bachman Brown Clem for a couple with three children who loves color but has different styles. The wife likes modern, streamlined and contemporary but the husband prefers traditional English and American antiques. To satisfy both homeowners' tastes, Clem used an eclectic mix of furnishings and a gleaming navy blue for the moldings and trim. Let's check out the results of this bold and beautiful home, shall we?

Such a gorgeous home, don't you think? The designer did a wonderful job marrying both the contemporary and traditional styles together. By incorporating the striking, glossy blue millwork in every room, it creates a sense of flow and cohesiveness. Polished, visually delightful and chic, this home is inspiring in so many ways. I am particularly drawn to the beautiful living room and the inviting library, what about you? Your thoughts?
