This gorgeous North Carolina house is a collaboration between Alabama architect James Carter and designer Jane Hawkins Hoke. Built to resemble a converted barn, everything in this vacation home is surprisingly brand new. Let's take a tour of this fabulous home, shall we?

Such a beautiful and graceful home, don't you think? A mix of stones, reclaimed wood, wood furnishings and antique pieces create instant warmth and rustic charm while fresh textiles and accessories provide an interesting dynamic and visual delight. The cozy and inviting entryway and the bright and airy great room with soaring double-story ceilings are my favorites. A lovely home inside and out with lots of style and inspiring details, what's not to love? Your thoughts?
One would never guess that this fantastic home is all new construction! Unbelievable! Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteI have kept these pages from House Beautiful for long time!! Love almost everything about the house - especially the colors used & the furniture - probably not the animal heads in the great room but everyone to their own!!!
