Happy Halloween!

Hope you have a great Halloween weekend, my lovelies!

I am planning to bring my son go trick-or-treating in our neighborhood during the evening later. My hubby will be staying at home today so he will be handing out candies to our neighborhood tricksters. Otherwise, I usually leave out the candies on our porch when we leave the house.

What about you? Do you have any special Halloween plans today?

Home tour- A young family's fresh and effortlessly chic Carpinteria beach house!

Be inspired by lifestyle and fashion photographer  Dewey Nicks and his wife, Stephanie Nicks' effortlessly chic Carpinteria beach house below!

I really like its high modernist-meets-New England traditional vibe. The large windows, warm wood tones, patterned floor tiles and the outdoor pool area are my favorites! It's easy to see why the Nickses decided to turn their vacation home into a permanent one. There's so much to be inspired by this fresh and fabulous home. What are your thoughts?

Favorite room of the week!

This beautifully layered Palm Beach, Florida dining room is designed by Jeffrey Bilhuber. I absolutely love how gorgeous and enchanting this space looks! The pairing of a panoramic wallpaper with a painting of the same theme and real potted lemon trees is incredibly witty and charming, adding a three dimension feel into the room, don't you think? I also like how the designer gives the room another layer of visual interest by incorporating some decorative lattice wainscoting in lieu of the typical wainscoting you commonly see in a lot of dining rooms. The carefully handpicked global-inspired pieces definitely gives this space a faraway, well-traveled feel. I am totally obsessed about this incredibly magical room, what about you? Thoughts?

Home tour- Rebecca Minkoff's stylish and refreshingly modern apartment!

As a bag lover, I am quite familiar with well-known bag designer, Rebecca Minkoff. One of her most popular creation is the super stylish and highly coveted cross-body bag with the iconic custom buckle hardware. Now with a growing business and family, her home was sadly neglected. With the help from One King's Lane makeover maestro Alex Reid, her home is transformed into a fresh and stylish space. Let's check out the results of the transformation, shall we?
