Home tour- A rustic and refined Tennessee log cabin!

This rustic Tennessee log cabin is designed by architect James Carter for an Alabama couple. Working with salvage experts who acquired and disassembled two rural Ohio log cabins from the 1840s, Carter incorporated antique pieces into this 1,200-square-foot house while Birmingham-based decorator Tammy Connor devised a plan for the interiors. Let's take a look at this inviting family retreat, shall we?

I am so inspired by this stunning retreat. I really like how rustic, cozy and refined this log cabin is! Those reclaimed wood planks exude so much warmth and character to the house, don't you think? The beautiful bedrooms, especially the sleeping loft is my favorite. Do you enjoy this home tour as much as I do?

  2. I'm not really a log cabin person...but this has such an inviting appeal. I love the windows...lots of light....and the design is 'spot on'...how fortunate they are to have such a lovely place!
