Home tour- A designer's charming historical abode!

This charming home belongs to designer, Barbara Westbrook. Once a general store, this historical 1,000-square-foot-home survives today as one of Atlanta's oldest residential communities. With its high ceiling and 18 feet of shelving in which the store had used to store the essentials, it now makes the perfect storage place from everything from cleaning supplies to her prized collection of shoes. Let's take a look at her home below!

Layered, slightly rustic with a mix of treasured finds and refined pieces, this home certainly feels lived-in and comfortable. Is there anything that catches your eye? Please share with me your thoughts.

  1. I love this style! The rustic mixed with soft touches. So casual and elegant at the same time. Perfection in my opinion.

  2. So warm and inviting without being fussy. Love all the lovely rich woods. Also love that red dresser in the bedroom and the little bits of red, just enough to tie it in.

  5. The "bones" of the house are really beautiful - those beams and timber walls. I loved every single space, particularly the little office area.
