Home tour- A designer's Colombian retreat!

Richard Mishaan, a New York-based designer who grew up in Bogotá returned to Cartagena a few years ago to work on a design project. He fell in love with the place all over again. A 16th-century residence near the center of the historic district caught his eye so he decided to purchase and renovate it as a retreat for his family. Let's take a look at his beautiful getaway home that he shares with his wife and two teenage children below.

Both the interior and exterior are equally gorgeous. I am particularly drawn to the stylish living room, spacious dining room and the vibrant media room. Which room(s) are you most gravitate to?

  12. This home is absolutely stunning! What most struck me is the use of the ships on the bedroom wall ... something about the way they slant in unison ... loving the look!
