In 2007, the designer and former Fashion Funder, Erin Fetherston moved to New York after living in Paris for five years and began to look for a new space that possessed the same old-world charm as her apartment in France. She finally found what she was looking for after looking for more than a year. A converted loft in Tribeca with high ceilings and huge windows that overlook the Hudson River stole her heart and she took the task of decorating immediately. She describes her space as romantic and chic, but clean and modern. Would you agree? Let's take a look.
What are your thoughts about this loft? Are you a fan of romantic interiors?
It's very pretty - I guess that this is a "female only" home - can't imagine too many males being happy to live with so much femininity! But it's gorgeous all the same.
ReplyDeleteLooks really fabulous,
ReplyDeletelove the French vibe in there.
So glam too.
Very romantic indeed. I do appreciate her style - it's so fanciful. Kind of reminds me of a home Gwyneth Paltrow had or still has. I personally need more edge but I love that we are all so different!

It is lovely, but a little over the top for me. I suppose for a girlie pad it's just perfect, though. :)
ReplyDeleteThe wing back chairs are incredible!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Must admit I'm not a fan of the rose vines coming down from the ceiling - that's a little over the top in girlyness for me! haha. I love the playfulness the stuffed lamb adds in the living room. So cute!

I actually blogged about this home using the image with the doors and the "swing of candles" but didn't know these were from the same home and never saw it in it's entirety.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and suits her to a tee. She looks like she loves her home. Great high ceilings here and those drapery panels really help fill the huge space and connect the furnishings to the openness. Love it.
ReplyDeleteInteresting house! But what got into my attention was that chandelier over the dining area, with the flowers and the candles that looks like some old romantic swings in the old movies!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness what a whimsical place. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteI like her home. She has some creative ideas. Love the chandelier with all the candles. I would like to see it with out the flowers.
ReplyDeleteWOW this place is awesome - love the hanging light chandelier :)
