Cool designer alert- Ashley Goforth!

Featuring talented designer, Ashley Goforth, based in Houston, Texas. Upon graduating from the University of Texas, she began her career at the distinguished interior design retailer, Shabby Slips and work under renowned designer, C.Renea Abbott. in 2005, Ashley founded Ashley Goforth Design and has since received many recognitions including Best Overall Design, Best Master Suite and Best Kitchen in the Braeswood Showcases of Homes in 2008 as well as being recognized as one of the six Up And Coming Houston Designers by Antique Shops and Designers Magazine. Her work has been featured in Country Home, Antiques Shops And Designers Magazine and blogs. Her key principles in each project is simple: a neutral color palette, a mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings and an emphasis on the relationship of textures and shapes.

The designer: Ashley Goforth

Although Ashley's interiors are mostly neutrals, they are still visually interesting with her use of textured materials such as sisal rugs, bamboo blinds, animal hide rugs or wood furniture in a classic setting. I just love the way she combined modern elements with more classic pieces to create a fresh look in all her spaces. Are you a fan of neutrals? If yes, which room do you gravitates to?
