Featuring Barrie Benson, a Charlotte based interior designer. Her work has been featured in Domino Magazine, InStyle, The New York Times, and Charlotte Home and Garden. Her signature interiors include juxtaposing modern with traditional, giving architecturally traditional homes a dash of youthful energy and color with her fresh take on European and American 20th century furniture, art and collections. She graduated from Furman University with a liberal arts degree and an interior design degree from The University of Georgia. Her working experience includes working at Hirsch Bedner Associates where she designed interiors ranging from modern hotels in Northen Germany to classic Ritz Carltons in the deep south. Barrie took a break from hotel design to teach interior design to University of Georgia students in the Cortona, Italy program. In 2000, she started Barrie Benson Interior Design and later in year 2010, joined by designer Charlotte Lucas. Let's check out her beautiful work below.

Her mix of bold colors and patterns is so cool! That first room is my favorite. Have a great weekend Jessie! Any fun plans?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would be the room with the deep green walls. I also like the bedroom with the pops of red/pink/orange. Overall there is a very relaxed elegant feel to these spaces.
