Colorful, eclectic and filled with personality, this beautiful home feels lively and inviting. Instead of walls, each room was separated using glass doors resulting in bright spaces that feel roomy. Do you like this unconventional solution to open up a space or do you prefer walls in between rooms for privacy?

I love open plan living so I much prefer the use of glass panels rather than walls - the whole space just feels so light and fresh! I am crazy about those distressed leather sofas in the living room!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! If I had a vacation home, hopefully I will one day, this would be how I would love to decorate it. So different and eclectic. Wow...this house is amazing.

Holy smoke. OK, first, I've never seen an interior wall made of windows like that?! It's very cool, the metal and the detail at the top that repeats in the bookshelves - very good. Secondly, the mural of the ocean with the guy is almost more than I can stand! I liken it to a very close up shot of a plate of chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven. I love them, but I'm not sure it would be good for me to see them all the time. With a picture of the ocean staring at me all the time it might make me sad rather than glad!! who knew?! Great post. M.
ReplyDeleteSome of my favorite items are the chalkboard wall, the trunk at the foot of the bed and the turquoise bookself.
ReplyDeleteLove this house Jessie, the use of old and the colour!
ReplyDeleteEspecially keen on the couch and bookcase!
