Home tour- Jonathan Adler's Whimsical Duplex!

Jonathan Adler's approximately 2,500-square-foot New York duplex he shares with his husband, Barney's New York creative director, Simon Doonan features antiques, boldly upholstered furniture and a variety of colorful artwork. The home consists of two apartment units that the couple combined and renovated three years ago.

With Jonathan Adler's love of colors and all things quirky, it is not surprising that his home evokes a sense of playfulness. I find his mix of vibrant colors and geometric patterns to be very inspirational. My favorite rooms are his stylish den and his gorgeous dining room. Do you have a favorite room, too?

  1. These are brave choices of bold patterns & bright colours but they pull together perfectly. I love to see ecclectic & quirky rooms, I am a huge fan of ecclectic style but bright & bold Im not brave but I love these images they work so well.

  9. So much personality, so much pizzazz! I love to see spaces which throw out the rule books and are true to the characters of the people living within. :-)
