Cool designer alert- Julia Buckingham Edelmann!

Featuring talented designer, Julia Buckingham Edelmann. Born and based in Chicago, her passion for antiques, artifacts, and found objects translates into beautiful and youthful homes with a timeless quality. As a former antiques dealer, she designs her interiors with keen interest in integrating antiques and artifacts with modern elements to reflect today's lifestyles. With a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from the University of Arizona, she was offered multiple jobs in the fashion industry, where she honed her aesthetic eye. Her designs are a mix of styles and eras, often creating surprising, whimsical and unique environments. Let's take a look at her beautiful work below:

  8. Julia is certainly a creative designer with a great eye for balancing form and scale. Most of her spaces don't strike me as having much warmth, however. I'd much prefer to study her whimsical and eclectic rooms, rather than try to live in them.

  13. LOVING Julia's work... the way she marries different styles together is fabulous beyond words - it is totally up my street and the kind of design that gets me very excited.

    What's strange is that just earlier I was thinking about blue fabric bar stools and look! The first image has them! Weird...

  16. I don't even know where to begin....these rooms are amazing!!! I love the pretty pendant lights in the first kitchen, the library ladder in the second, the wall of maps in the 10th, the awesome bunk beds in the 11th, the framed swimsuits...I love it all, really!
