Home tour- A colorful and eclectic London home!

This 670 square feet apartment in a Georgian building in Bayswater, London belongs to designer Jimmie Martin and photographer Rick Schultz. This one-bedroom flat was designed by none other than Jimmie himself and photographed by Rick. Despite being a rental, this doesn't stop Jimmie from painting the walls. The current dark gray walls serve as a backdrop for color explosions found on the furniture, objects and art around the house. Pieces were bought from Ikea to Dwell along with unique pieces found on travels and at antique markets. Let's check out this colorful and eclectic home below:

What are your thoughts about this home? Would you like to call this your home or otherwise? Is there anything you are particularly drawn to?

  3. I love it - so eclectic and right up my street. The only items I am not fond of though are the custom made headboard and the french chair - apart from that I love - especially the yellow head and the raven!

  7. This house has attitude. I like to look at it, but don't think I could really chill out here. Especially with that stuffed bird threatening to poke my eyeballs out.

  9. This home is so dark and yet there is something so sultry and enduring about it. Love the color pop in the living room with the bright colored pillows and I LOVE the note on the headboard :)

  12. I love the drama of this home! And I'm always very inspired by people with tiny homes who aren't afraid to decorated them to the max. I love when people don't let square footage hold them back in their decorating.
