'Plaid Bench'
Floor Installation Projects
Honestly, I am blown away by their incredible talents and their amazing creations. Those gorgeous multi-colored plaid benches are so unique and intriguing with a resemblance of the classic tartan design while the colorful and striking floor installation are just breathtaking and brilliant. The dramatic floor installation looks like a huge and continuous beautiful one-of-a-kind-custom designer carpet/ rug that instantly makes a huge design statement in any room or space. It would be so cool to have those fabulous benches or pretty floors in my house. What are your thoughts? Do you like the above designs or otherwise? For all of you pro DIYers out there, would you be attempting any of these projects in the future?

Hi Jessie, I'm with you the benches are so so cool...they would look amazing outdoors (great substitutes for the old boring grey benches that dress our streets!)

Beautiful patterns. The tables have a Mondrian feel to them and the arrangement of pattern on floor, so Missoni

ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower of your blog. Thanks for visiting mine and entering my Flokati give away!
I'm with Helen, the floors completely remind me of a Missoni pattern- gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing. I love to see how the benches are made and also the floor installation from the staining process to the install. The overlapping pattern of the benches or tables remind me a bit of those placemats we would weave in elementary school using strips of different colored construction paper. I saw this pattern at the MoMA by Lee Ufan with metal and now here. Absolutely love this creativity.
ReplyDeleteI love their floors - they are amazing, but not sure I would have their tables at home - work perhaps would defo brighten up anyones day!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great one.
