What are your thoughts about this home? Is there anything you are particularly drawn to? For me, I am particularly drawn to the large windows and the beautiful brick walls, both wonderful features in this gorgeous home. I thought the similar design and color carried throughout the wall tiles in the kitchen and bathroom to mimic the brick walls is a smart approach to create cohesiveness throughout the house. Incorporating a black lacquered wood paneled glass separating the living room from the kitchen also helps to add architectural interest while infused practicality. Overall, this home feels warm and inviting, thanks to the vintage wood furniture in the 50's and 60's which helps to evoke a sense of nostalgic air and a combination of current furniture pieces, artwork, modernized kitchen and bathroom is the perfect addition for contemporary living.

I adore the bathroom and those gorgeous black doors into the kitchen although the placement of the black and white rug in the living room is a bit odd! Other than that it seems like a very relaxing, welcoming and stylish home!
ReplyDeleteWhere do I start? I love the colour of the walls and the painted brickwork! Also seriously crushing on that bright blue throw on the bed!
ReplyDeleteThis home is quite charming. I am drawn to the black panelled glass doors, it serves as a beautiful accent. The whole vibe of this place is quite relaxing.. Have a lovely week hon. x
ReplyDeleteI like it and am glad I didn't have to make the decision to paint the brick. I don't know if I could have done that. I especially like the bathroom and the picture with the black doors.
ReplyDeletegreat post Jessie, this house its absolutely gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteI'm such a sucker for white brick walls.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for the tile in the kitchen, though. I would have opted for a different look rather than sort of matching.
I too love the windows - they provide the illusion of very high ceilings which I adore in a space.

my husband wants to paint the stone walls in our kitchen - this almost makes we want to let him
ReplyDeleteI love the vibe in this home more than the individual pieces. It feels so comfy and down to earth but super stylish at the same time. You have a knack for finding the best homes!
ReplyDeleteI love the brick walls. I wonder if they painted them white or if it came like that. Either way, it looks fabulous and makes the home very bright and open :)

I'm definitely a fan of painted/exposed brick and I appreciate the effort of trying to use tiles that would mimic the brick.
ReplyDeleteThese spaces have a cozier feel than a lot of 'modern' houses. The white brick and vintage accents add a little something extra!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites yet. WOW! So gorgeous. Exposed brick is my fav!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I would kill for a brick wall, it adds so much texture and interest even when it's painted out. The black window divider is also a cool take on an "open" kitchen, and the contrast is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI really like the white brick walls too! The glass lamps are very cute.
ReplyDeleteHave I died and gone to heaven?...this home is gorgeous :)
