Home tour- A relaxing Georgia beach house!

The arch of the living room door is repeated on the bookcase for symmetry.

The wicker sofa and woven shades have a similar feel and texture, thus create a sense of cohesiveness.

The curvy balustrade creates an elegant architectural detail and adds visual interest.

The wiggly spindle backs of the armchairs echo the staircase's iron spindles to create a sense of unity.

A Nantucket-style kitchen with all white kitchen cabinets contrast beautifully with the natural wood island.

A classic tub with a luxurious feel.

Subtle fabric patterns and canopy details provides interest in this guest bedroom.

The master bedroom's tall four-poster campaign-style bed soars toward the distressed oak ceiling and gives scale to the bright and airy room.

What are your thoughts on this home? Any favorite element or room?

  7. I like the arched doorways, and because of the high ceilings together with the great moulding, adds additional visual interest. There is a sense of formality but the natural and distressed elements add a casual, relaxed feel - love that!
