Recently , I stumbled upon this blog and I am so glad I did. Do you remember Eddie Ross, a contestant from Bravo's 'Top Design' during season 2? Eddie Ross is such a talented guy and he is also one of my favorite designers in the show. Anyway, while browsing his blog the other day, I came across some gorgeously designed window displays he did for Carleton V and Elle Decor.
Carleton V
This window display is absolutely gorgeous, delightful and truly inspirational and can be easily transformed into a girly vanity, a feminine office space (sans the mirror and perfume bottles) or a lovely mom cave, don't you think?
Carleton V
This charming window display can be translated into a home office or a sophisticated vignette in an entryway or a hallway. (with a few adjustments, of course)
Elle Decor
This window dressing can be easily translates into a stylish family room or a chic and glamorous living room.
I just adore Eddie's keen sense of style, his meticulousness to every little single detail and his ability to transform a blank canvas into a spectacular showpiece. In addition to his design talent, he also has a knack for injecting new life into old and tired used furniture through thrift store finds. Most of the furniture and accessories found in his window displays had gone through a series of repurposing, restoring and repainting.
Have you ever found inspirations in window displays? What are your thoughts on the window displays above?

They are beautiful, and so girly! Love it! I want my own little office space that looks like that top picture!
ReplyDeleteYou're right Jessie!! That desk I showed would look gorgeous with that floral wall covering, and with the rest of that display!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you stopped by my blog... it led me to yours! I love Eddie Ross and his style. I also follow his blog and watched him on Bravo TV! The window displays are gorgeous and tell a story. I love the writing on the mirror! :) I really appreciated your comment today.
